Tourist attractions in Cambodia

Siem Reap center

Only 2-min walk from the Old Market and Pub Street, you are welcome to enter the world of traditional Khmer handicraft. At your arrival at this charming place, a friendly Cambodian guide will invite you to follow him for a free guided tour of the workshops in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Khmer (please note that availability of guides speaking your language can unfortunately not be guaranteed but we will try our best to assist you).

First our guide will explain great story of Artisans Angkor, from its origins as an educational project to today’s thriving social business. Then, walking peacefully from one workshop to another, you will have the opportunity to admire the knowledge and techniques of our artisans in stone and wood carving, lacquering, silver plating and silk painting.

Our tour ends with the main showroom if you wish to have a look at the diversity of pieces made by hand by our artisans.

You can either ask a tuk-tuk or car driver to bring you to Artisans Angkor workshops or alternatively you can walk from the center of the city. We are located on a perpendicular road to Sivatha street opposite from the Terrace of Elephants hotel. Large signs indicate the entrance way.

Booking of guided tours in advance is not necessary, with the exception for large groups (more than 12 people).
