The inspiration for the piece itself came from the four-faced towers of the Bayon Temple (usually dated as being around the end of the twelfth century and the beginning of the thirteen century). The design of the statue is meant to ensure that the viewer sees the carving work that went into bringing this piece to life.
Each face of the Totem is meant to express some form of wisdom and peace. Overall it is a great addition to any open space, like a garden, as a decorative piece, but some people may be interested in having it in their meditation rooms. Being one of the most impressive and biggest pieces in the collection, it is definitely something unusual that can be kept and treasured for many years to come. It can help to give your place a feeling of not only serenity, but spiritual peace and connection to the overall divine.
