CHINESE/TAIWANESE PUBLIC RELATION

Position title:

Public Relations for Chinese speaking markets

Location:

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Report to:

Senior Public Relations Manager

 

Duties:

This includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Managing database including all potential business partners (hotels, travel agencies, restaurants, spa, corporates, embassies etc.)
  • Promotion of existing and new services and products to business partners
  • Participate to annual marketing promotions planning brainstorming sessions
  • Be the point of contact for any business partners queries between them and the Senior PR manager and/or any other relevant departments
  • Responsible for providing formal and informal guidance and recommendations to the guides and sellers teams regarding cultural awareness related to your markets and selling techniques
  • Driving best practice and culture of continuous service delivery improvement within the company
  • Prepare business case for tourism fairs the company may attend
  • Participate to international tourism fairs as and when required
  • Participate to domestic fairs related to crafts or tourism as and when required
  • Produce post events reports and do follow ups on events
  • VIP management (organize and conduct the VIP tours and visits follow up)
  • Produce PowerPoint presentations as and when required
  • Reporting
  • Any other ad hoc projects
  • Guiding and selling to Chinese  and Taiwanese customers
  • Increase the average sale per pax for Chinese  and Taiwanese customers
  • To train Artisans d’Angkor local Chinese speaking guide

Position overview


You are an experienced Human Resources Director who will take leadership and responsibility for all aspects of the company Human resources:
• updating and applying the Human Resources policy and internal rules,
• managing careers,
• recruitment and trainings,
• seeing to harmonious industrial relations.

Who we are looking for…


Age 40+. Person of integrity with a great sense of empathy and fairness, you will demonstrate excellent listening and analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, diplomatic capacity and determination. You strive for human contact and field work that will feed your understanding of the Company’s working mechanisms and translate this into either actionable proposals for short term improvements or more long terms plans.

Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources, Law, or Political Sciences is preferred. Significant experience as a Human Resources Director in a structured organization of significant size is required, preferably in a multicultural environment and in Cambodia.

Preference will be given to Cambodians. Proficiency in Khmer and English are mandatory. Knowledge of French is an asset.
Salary based upon experience. The position will be located at the head office of Artisans Angkor, in the heart of Siem Reap.
